Siemer Milling Company is committed to purchasing quality soft red winter wheat for our mill in Teutopolis, Illinois. In recent years, both quality and quantity of wheat produced in Southern Illinois have suffered. When the poor quality is reflected in low net return per acre to the farmer, fewer acres will be grown. We believe this trend can be reversed.
We have developed a grower initiative called the Siemer Quality Wheat Program to encourage and reward producers who can deliver high quality, high value soft red winter wheat. All wheat will be contracted and delivered to Siemer Milling Company in Teutopolis, IL. In order to attain the highest yield and highest quality, We require the use of a Professional Wheat Consulting Service. Crop IMS and Opticrop are approved providers of these services. We have worked with both companies and have great confidence in their ability to add value to your wheat production.
