Join Us at the 2026 IWA Summer Wheat Forum

| 07.15.2026

The Illinois Wheat Association’s Summer Wheat Forum is back — and it’s shaping up to be a can’t-miss day for growers, agronomists, and anyone with a stake in the Illinois wheat industry.

Join us on July 30, 2026 at the American Farm Heritage Museum in Greenville, IL. Doors open at 8:30 a.m., with a packed morning of expert-led sessions designed to keep you informed heading into the back half of the season.

What’s on the agenda?

The day kicks off with the announcement of the Bob Frank Wheat Yield Contest results, followed by a weather outlook from meteorologist Seth Bohnoff. From there, Peter “Wheat Pete” Johnson — resident agronomist with Real Agriculture and one of the most enthusiastic voices in wheat production — takes the stage to talk all things agronomy.

We’re proud to sponsor the 11:00 a.m. session featuring Scott Custard, VP of Moving Parts, LLC. Scott brings more than 30 years of food industry experience to the table, with deep expertise in commodity risk management, grain merchandising, and wheat flour markets. It’s exactly the kind of practical, market-focused knowledge that helps growers and buyers make smarter decisions.

The morning wraps up with exhibitor updates and lunch — plenty of time to connect with fellow industry professionals.

At Siemer Milling, we’ve been partnering with Illinois wheat growers for well over 140 years. Events like the Summer Wheat Forum reflect the kind of community investment and shared knowledge that make this industry strong.
